LADDER OF SUCCESS AND SACRIFICE

Success is not a one-time thing rather it is a ladder with many steps with each step bearing its significance.

One of the steps in the ladder of success that must be climbed is called SACRIFICE. Why? Success is a costly commodity and it comes with a lot of demands. The level of success a man desires to achieve in life is proportional to the sacrifice that he or she must pay. This means success is a commodity that must be bought and sacrifices are prices that must be paid for it to be achieved.

To efficiently engage the step of sacrifice among the steps in the ladder of success, the following must be done.

RECOGNISE THE SACRIFICE TO BE PAID

Each sector of life endeavor requires their unique sacrifices. Take for instance a student who wants to come out as the best student in his or her studies must recognize the place of “sacrificial studying” Studying is a sacrifice. He or she must be ready to burn the midnight candle and must be ready to study extensively above an average student. What of a man of God who wants to be mightily used of God must be ready to pay the sacrifice of constantly fasting and praying, studying the word of God and denying himself or herself of worldly pleasures? Can we say anything different or less of a businessman or anyone who wants to be wealthy; such a person must engage the sacrifice of saving in order to have more for investment.

PAY YOUR SACRIFICE

To recognize the sacrifice to pay is impeccable but it is nothing compared to paying the sacrifice that success demands. Though many people have come to the place of recognizing the sacrifice they need to pay to achieve success but the reality of life has shown or revealed that only a few usually pay the sacrifice to achieve it. Paying the sacrifice that success demands is weighty. Why? Sacrifice is always painful. It goes against the comfort that nature demands. Paying sacrifice requires discipline, determination, and endurance.

As a student, a man of God, a businessman or anyone who wants to become wealthy in life, you must be ready to pay the sacrifice of discipline, determination, and endurance to record success.

Be among those few who are ready to pay sacrifice for the success they desire.

Endure the pain of studying as a student.

Endure the pain of fasting and praying, studying God’s word, and denying living for worldly pleasure as a man of God.

Endure the pain of saving as a businessman or anyone who wants to be rich.
