LADDER OF SUCCESS AND VISION

Before you can record success in any field of endeavor, you must recognize and engage the first step in the ladder of success called VISION. You must have asked yourself this question? What do I want in life? What do I want to be known for? What is my vision? If people want to talk about me, what can they say about me in one sentence?

Before I proceed, permit me to ask you this question too? What is your vision? Can you tell me about yourself in one sentence? Do you really have an identity? If you can’t answer this question still, then your light of being successful is dim. Why? Nobody succeed in life without a concrete vision for their life because of the critical role that vision plays in the concept of success which are;

(1) Vision gives focus and clear direction to life.

Life is full of distractions. One of the greatest enemies of success is distraction. Distraction of pursuing many things at a time. From my research, it has been discovered that one of the secret to the success of great men has been their ability to choose a specific path for their life which they pursue with utmost dedication of energy, time, and resources. This consistency in pursuing a specific course always accord men success. Without vision, you can’t escape the distraction of pursuing many things at a time which has been the den of many failures. Like an adage “Jack of all trades, master of none”. It takes vision to be focused in life as it takes focus to achieve success.

(2) Vision instills discipline and diligence which are vital ingredients to success.

Men of vision are always discipline and diligent. They are usually engrossed and consumed by their vision until it becomes a reality. They never give room for mediocrity rather they are goal getter. Vision makes men go extra mile and put themselves under constraint to achieve their vision. They give no room for comfort at the expense of their vision. They spend and spend until they are spent because of their vision. All archives of success has always been attributed to a high degree of discipline and diligence; a function of vision.

(3) Vision helps man to see beyond challenges.

This is the reason why men of vision always succeed in life. Men of vision are not limited by challenges like many people because they always see beyond challenges. They always turn challenges to opportunities to learn and forge ahead in their pursuit of success. Vision believes all things are possible. Therefore, it always finds out ways to overcome challenges that appears on the pathway to success. You need vision to overcome challenges and break forth into success.

(4) Vision is the cure of fear

Fear is another great enemy of success. Fear has torment; torment of prison. It has imprisoned many of their abilities and potentials. It is the impression that makes things appears impossibilities and has made many to turn back on their journey to success but vision has a solid premise of certainty in its operation because it sees the end from the beginning. Therefore, vision goes for whatever he sees until it comes to pass. Vision knocks off every activity of fear and instills confidence in the life of any who possesses it.

This is another ground upon which success hangs for all men of vision.

Vision is the bedrock in the ladder of success and is the link to other steps in the ladder of success.
